Hello Kitty Fanatic!!!

You may not know this but I'm in love with Hello Kitty!!! Fun fact: Hello Kitty is a twin! Her actually name is Kitty White and her twin sisters name is Mimmy White! I just think she is so cute and I love her cute design! Here is a wish list of some Hello Kitty things that I want!

Hello Kitty Die-Cut Gem Necklace

Isn't this to die! I think this is so cute and totally age appropriate for me. I don't really like the little girl stuff. I would totally rock this with every outfit, whether it be a day or night look. So pretty!! =^_^=

Hello Kitty Die-Cut Head Ring

I Just think this is too cute! Normally I like Hello Kitty with a pink bow but in this case I'm willing to make an exception. I like little pieces like this that are special and unique.

Hello Kitty Adult Classic Sneakers

I recently saw these at the Mall and I was like OMG!!! No way! and the best part, they also had little baby shoes for my little Abby! That way we could match. These are so awesome and would probably be my everyday casual shoe! Oh yeah!

Bling Mirror

I would love to have this little beauty! No I don't really need to have a jeweled Hello Kitty mirror but just look at how FAB it is. What girl wouldn't want one of these?

These are just the cutest things! I'm house hunting at the moment, and I would definitely use these to entertain. It would be a cute little something-something for my guest to enjoy =D

So this is my Hello Kitty wish list at the moment...What is on your wish list!?

My Favorite Drug Store Beauty Products

Most of us try to stay beautiful on a budget...I know I do. So like I mentioned before you can find some really good products at Target, Wal-Mart, CVS, you name it! It's not always easy finding them but when you do it's worth sharing. So I'm going to tell you somethings that I have stumbled upon that are great!!!

This is the Nuance by Salma Hayek Shampoo line

I use the Smooth and Shine Shampoo and Conditioner. This is so amazing...it actually does what it promises to do!!! When I use it I feel like I'm using something really expensive and luxurious. It totally eliminates the frizz factor in my hair.  I wash my hair at night and let it air dry for a bit then I go to bed, when I wake up in the morning my hair is shiny and almost straight! I love everything about it! The packaging, the way it smells, and the way it works!

No these are not Easter Eggs these are EOS Lip Balms

I love this lip balm, not only is the packaging super cute but the actual lip balm is in the shape of a ball! It makes it so much easier to apply. They are very moisturizing and all natural. This little ball is packed with jojoba oil, antioxidants, and shea butter. My Favorite flavors are Strawberry Sorbet, Honeysuckle Honeydew, and Sweet Mint =P

I used to shave my legs with just soap and water but then I decided I needed something more moisturizing, so I picked this up. Not only does it smell amazing but it makes shaving a breeze. This is not a foam, which I really like. I find that the foam shaving creams make my skin feel like rubber after. This is a cream so when your done your legs feel smooth and slippery.

This is the BEST at home hair removal wax ever!!!! I used to get ones that you needed to heat up the wax in the microwave and then let it cool a bit and blah blah blah. Those were so fussy and PAINFUL!!! This is so simple and works! It comes with reusable strips, a plastic applicator, and the wax. You don't even have to heat up the wax! It warms up from your body heat. I love this because it is not as painful as some of the others I have tried. Also what is awesome is that I have noticed that the more I use it the longer it takes for my hair to grow back!!!

Haha I'm not trying to get all Jersey Shore on you but I love this self tanner. What I like about is it doesn't smell as bad as some other self tanners and the results are fast! You don't get an orangey color either. What I like to do is exfoliate my skin really well before application. Then I step in the shower and just spray! It's more like a soft mist when it comes out which gives you a nice even coverage.

I love Sonia Kashuk nail polish! Look at these gorgeous colors and this is not even half of them. What I love about these is not only is the quality great but the range of colors is amazing. Many of the colors are unique and not very easy to find in other brands. Whenever I want to paint my nails I catch myself reaching for the Sonia Kashuk line all the time and at $4.99 they are a steal!!!

Let me know your favorite drugstore products! Thanks for stopping by and I hope to talk to you soon!

My All Time Favorite Looks Then and Now

Hey you! Nice to see you again. So I wanted to share with you some of my all time favorite Makeup Looks and styles. I love mixing old with the new, so most times I will take a retro look and give it a modern spin to keep it up to date.

50's Makeup "Classic Beauty"

This is probably one of the most loved looks of all time. This look is so timeless and classic, everyone can pull this look off. Women in this time were so classy and sophisticated that whenever I recreate this look I feel very womanly and strong. My favorite actress of this time was Elizabeth Taylor. She is drop dead gorgeous!!! I love her strong brows, flushed cheeks, and red lips. When I recreate this look I like to keep it simple and focus on a nice defined brow, perfect black liner, and beautiful matte red lips. Here is a video of me recreating this look ==> 50's, Pin Up, Dita Von Teese MakeUp Tutorial The Celebrity that does this look very well in our times is Dita Von Teese.

Dita sticks to the classic 50's look but with her own gothic twist. Notice how her skin is porceline white with no blush. I like that she made it her own and redefined it for herself.

60's Makeup "The Doll Eyes Look"

I love how this look is all about the eyes and lashes. Twiggy was one of this era's style icons. I love how her eyes look so big giving her the appearance of a doll. You can't really see it in this photo but it was also about thick eyeliner and a cut crease. A cut crease just means that the crease of the eye is overly defined. I love recreating this look by using a softer hand and not as dramatic. A celebrity that does this look very well nowadays is the singer Adele. I love her makeup it always looks so beautiful. If you would like to see a makeup tutorial on Adele...here you go =D ==> Adele Look Using Only Sonia Kashuk

Adele has a modern 60's look that I love. Look how chic and sultry she looks.

Egyptian Inspired Makeup "The Cat Eye Look"

Ok this look is just awesome! There is something so mysterious and sexy about a cat eye that I love. More often than not I can't resist to wing out my eyeliner just a little more than I have to. My favorite product to use to achieve this look is the Sonia Kashuk dramatically defining long wear eyeliner. It is so black and long lasting! What is also important about this look is the strong defined brows which I also love. Many celebrities today recreate this dramatic winged out eyeliner but my favorite of course has to be the beautiful Angelina Jolie. Now that I'm typing this I realize that I don't have a video recreating Angies look. I'm going to have to get on top of that!!! I do however have a video recreating Beyonce's look in her "Why don't you love me" music video. Which is a dramatic cat eye look. Check it out ==> Beyonce "Why Dont You Love Me" MakeUp Tutorial

Angelina is known for her sultry cat eye look. I love her look, it is perfect for the beautiful eye shape that she has. Well she is also my girl crush...haha

This is a still of the Beyonce's look that I mentioned earlier if you were curious =D I also loved this look very much...it's so dramatic.

So there you have it. These are my favorite looks. Tell me about yours!!! Hope you liked this and found it helpful. Thanks for stopping by and I hope to talk to you soon!

My Top 5 Must Haves From the Sonia Kashuk Line!

If you know me personally or watch my YouTube videos then you know my favorite brand is Sonia Kashuk! Which is exclusively sold at the wonderful Target! One of my favorite places to shop by the way. So just a heads up I'm going to be mentioning her a lot in my blog =) I probably own every single piece from her collection ( Literally) You can see my entire makeup collection and how I organize it in this link ==> How I Organize My MakeUp (Updated) Why do I love this brand so much you might ask? 1...It's sold at Target! I can go to the Sonia Kashuk section while I do my regular shopping and I don't have to go to the Mall or fancy store. 2...It is quality makeup and products at affordable prices (many of her cosmetics and brushes have won many awards) 3. Her products are cruelty free! Who doesn't love that? Ok so I know that when you walk up to her display at Target it can be overwhelming, so I picked my top five must have products that you can try. Hopefully you will love them as much as I do!

The Eye on Neutral Palette

This Palette is awesome for creating everyday looks and you can also create more dramatic smokey looks for evenings. An extra bonus to this palette is that it comes with 3 Looks with step by step instructions to help you get started. You don't have to use this palette by itself either you can use it to warm up different looks with color eyeshadows. What I really like about this palette is that all the shadows are matte which is very rare but very versatile in creating different looks. If you want to see me achieve the 3 looks to this palette, check out this video =) ==> Sonia Kashuk Eye on Neutral Palette All 3 Looks

Dramatically Defining Long Wear Gel Liner

When I just started to wear makeup I used eyeliner pencil, then I graduated to liquid liner, but then when I found this! I was absolutely in love. Gel liner is so awesome because it gives you a more defined line as appose to a pencil and easier to apply than liquid liner. It is long lasting and can also be applied to your waterline. You apply it with a brush (which is sold separately) so it's like you literally paint it on! The pigmentation is great! You will always get a really dark, sharp line when you use this.

Lashify Mascara

I have to admit when I first used this mascara I didn't like it. I was used to formulas that were really thick and wet. I gave it another chance and I'm glad that I did because now I can't stop using it. It gives my lashes volume and length without making them look hard and stiff. I like that the formula is a little more on the dry side because I can apply several coats without my lashes looking like spider legs. The end result is my lashes look feathery and whispy and more like my natural lashes just really enhanced. Did I mention that it also comes with a lash comb in the handle!!! Genius!

Brow Definer in Taupe

OMG!!! I love this color...ok I've had blue hair before ( I mean my entire head! not streaks) and I still used this pencil. I love how it blends so well into my natural hairs. Brows are so important for your overall look...I can not stress that enough. When you have full, filled, nicely groomed eyebrows it can make you look more youthful and put together. If you have red tones in your hair, then I would suggest you try the color Haze. Also when you fill in your brow it is good to have a clean spoolie on hand to brush through your brows after application, to blur out any harsh lines. Making the end result a more natural appearance.

Hidden Agenda Concealer Palette

This palette comes with three shades of concealer and powder to set. I love this concealer because it comes with a neutralizer that is good for the red area around my nose. I especially love to apply it with the Sonia Kashuk Synthetic Pointed Foundation Brush. When I use this brush it just melts into my skin and feathers out so perfectly that I can wear only concealer and no one would notice. This concealer palette is perfect for the go and the formula is great. It is not too pasty or dry...it is a perfect creamy consistency that is long lasting.

Well these are my must haves! I hope this was helpful to some of you that were interested in something new. Thanks for stopping by and I hope to talk to you soon!
